You should have brought it home. That is the AF35MII, aka "New" Sure shot, and it is a good little shooter.

apparently there is a wide and tele available. I looked at them online and it doesnt say their focal lengths does anyone know? Also, the camera has some corrosion in the battery compartment, is this camera scrap or can it be cleaned up ,does that mean there is corrosion inside too? I hope not my hopes are high now.

Sometimes the corrosion can be cleaned, sometimes not. But the old Sure Shots seem to have fairly rugged electronics, I have cleaned some that I literally had to pry the old corroded batteries out of, and brought them back to like. For 3 bucks it may be worth the risk. I have a set of the auxiliary lenses somewhere, still in the original packages, as I never used them.
