I am linking to my post in the main thread about Camera Leather.

The short version: I ordered the basic VH Black Leatherette covers for my yellow ring Yashicamat, and received them in 6 days.

These old Yashicamats have Vulcanite covers on them so they are pretty much impossible to remove without destroying them. Therefore, just about any repair work on them requires a new leatherette.

Good to hear that Morgan at cameraleather CAN fill some orders quickly. Having worked on developing some leather patterns myself, I can say that his patterns are very good and his quantity of patterns is a treasure. If his customer relation skills ever return to a decent quality, it's a benefit to all of us.

That old Yashica-Mat material is a royal pain in the keister.

Only if you have to take it off (grin). It wears forever, and all it takes to look like new is a bit of soap and water. Unfortunately, after 45 years you probably do have to work on the camera, and therefore have to remove it. Sigh!
