I have a nikon D3 as a main camera with a large set of primes (mix of AF and MF). I have a nex-7 and zeiss ikon (which share some leica M-mount lenses) as secondary cameras. The D3 is great for events, the rest don't come close for that application.

What: Pentax K5
Why: I started out with Pentax so i stuck with it. I rarely use it nowadays but once there's a wedding or sth that requires a long lens I'll use it again. For everything else my RF's are enough.

I have a 5D Mark II w/ Sigma 50 1.4 and 135L for portraits, have a 17-40L for landscape and 100-400L for wildlife.
but for day to day stuff, I find it much simplier to walk around with my M6 or X100s (soon, sold my X100 and anxiously awaiting for the X100s).
plus I like to switch toys around, sometimes I'll shoot with my EOS3 or P67 for slides

Yes, I use a Nikon D300 for all professional assignments i.e. where I am being paid. But for personal work I always use film and hope to continue to. However with the loss of Ektachrome I am shooting less and less color than before and may just use digital, sticking with film for B&W.

I sold my M8 a couple of years ago and replaced it with a Nikon D3. The Nikon is immense in every sense of the word. Super fast, amazing high ISO IQ, exceptional AF oh and yes its rather large.
I bought a 5D recently too to use older lenses on which was great and its a crazy price these days but I have decided to move it on as its a touch excessive to have two full frame DSLRs.
SLRs are great for faster focusing, longer lenses and general convenience (Zooms)
I have a 28-300 VR for my D3 and its fantastic. I hated the idea of 'superzooms' but its sharp, has brilliant colours and contrast and it has VR. Its a big package and wouldn't replace a Leica M for some things but its a very usable duo and can produce stunning image quality.

Passionate amateur here, sometimes I use my wife's Nikon D5100 when I need a tele/zoom lens, like today when I was shot the vernissage of an art exhibition with my Leica x1 and my wife's DSRL. A good combination.

I -- almost, but not quite -- don't see the point in color film anymore. I suppose if Kodachrome were still around I'd feel different but with my skills, I've worked hard to improve in b/w in terms of exposure and film development and scanning and post processing etc and whatever I do with color film I have to pay to have processed and scanned and it's never any better or more interesting than what I can do with my trusty D700.

d700 and d3, mostly used for paid work, including sports, weddings, etc. With strobes or flashes I vastly prefer to use digital. I tend to shoot film alongside digital often, and use film for personal projects almost exclusively.

At work I've got a Nikon D7000 for copying documents and such (I work in an archive) and event photography. But when I'm shooting for myself out comes the leica!
