Hi all, sorry if this has been asked/answered...
Is it possible to have a page with all recent posts (including those I've seen)? Ie. like the home page of the old RFF.
Currently, this only seems to be possible within a specific forum (by using the 'Latest Activity' tab).
'Latest Topics' under the 'Home' tab appears to miss a heap of activity, and 'New Topics' under the Forums tab doesn't bring up posts I've already seen.
Thanks

I agree, this feature of the old version RFF is very useful.
In the new one, it's quite difficult to navigate the active threads.

I'm interested as well. I feel a little lost without that view on the landing page.

Hitting Forums then New Topics gets close but it applies additional filtering to only show unread. That is kind of confusing since the filtering makes it seem like threads 'disappear' from that view. If the unread flag could be removed from that button I think it would be better.

Yes, please, a forum view with activities in list mode would be great again.

Yes, the old RFF page listing all recent posts is missing. I'd appreciate it if it could be restored.

Whatever
I seem to be seeing 'latest' activity within specific forum sections, but not in others. And sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not there. Doesn't seem consistent right now.

I am also sorry if this has been asked and answered. I am able to log in to RFF, and I am aware that one needs an additional password for the gallery. However, when I try to have the gallery password sent to my email (the SAME email as I used for the initial password) I am told that my email is not in the database! A bit lost here.

Yeah, this new layout is not working for me at all. I come to RFF to quickly browse thru latest posts to see if something I'm interested in, or something posted by a friend, is current and there to read. The way it is set up now, I won't be visiting.
Best,

Hey TJ,
I agree with your observation and I'm going to look for a way to adjust my profile. Change is good, but while I'm not a command line bigot (my youngest son is) I do prefer a tighter screen layout. My guess is that the old version was just not supported any longer so a change had to be made to avoid hacks and other bad things.
More as I get it.

As I have mentioned in another thread you can use the following address that directs you to the place @raydm mentioned.

Yep. "New posts" and "Mark all read," too.

The old layout seemed more user friendly..this new RFF form feels kind of cumbersome and not intuitive ... but may be we have to give it time for us to get use to it.

How about the Home page Latest Topics > View All function as an option? It seems to ignore view history.

That is filtering out any read threads. I haven't been able to remove the unread_only flag as it then says there are too many search results to show.

That is clearly missing threads though. The Latest Topics list shows 1 post in the last hour and the next 3 hours before that. Using the 'New Topics' button is showing 13 posts in the same time frame.

Oh yeah. I guess that list needs some work.
