What Camera Do You Carry With You Everyday?

+1 for the Ricoh GRIII. It the perfect walk around camera for me. Seriously thinking about adding the IIIx for 40mm FOV and to bulge-symmetry in my pants pockets… ;)

Wow, it seems like folks are using all sorts of cool stuff, both film and digital. Although one may not use a camera everyday, it is always nice to have if a good subject presents itself. I also will swap out everyday cameras for set-ups that I am testing out.

The iPhone 12 Pro is always with me by default, and very happy with the results. As for a camera, it's the X100F although I am eyeing the GRlllx.

Olympus XA-1, the most simple camera I own with great results (IMHO). No batteries, no focus, no lens cap even!
I had to look this one up, as at first I thought you meant XA. But nice choice! This camera seems underrated.

I am carrying a Zorki 4 with an I-61 lens with the wearing of big coats and thicker clothing now...during the warmer months it was my Olympus XA.

Fascinating design, Archiver. Anyone else a fan of the Sony RX0?
I prefer the Dxo One as a small, non-extending lens, carry-always digital camera.

But my must trustful companion is the original Rollei 35. The one Made in Germany with a Zeiss Tessar and a serial number < 35000 (steel rewind spindle).

Cheers!

keep Sony RX100 v2 in car ..batteries always charged plus camera takes good shots. Have kept camera in car during winter, batteries still good.
I never have to charge the battery, it always is good.

iPhone 11 Pro Max. Never underserved with my iPhone. It’s a superb camera in every respect. I still prefer film, but I am guaranteed a great shot with my iPhone. Here is a picture I took in Yosemite recently.

Sony HX80. It's what I have with me when I don't have a "camera" with me. Image quality is not one of its strongest points, but it's very versatile..

Don't laugh, please ...

Lately, as in post-Covid, what I carry with me most of the time as I go about daily life is the ancient Kodak DX4530. It's very light, has a real viewfinder, and easily outperforms the phone, image quality wise.

If I think I might want to semi-seriously photograph something, I'll usually carry the X-t20, which is moderately light.
