I'm hoping more likely there will be big improvements to the 50 f1.0 from the F1.1 and F1.2. if it's all as good as we hope itll be then I expect to see a lot F1.1 & 1.2 being sold off
Why is the wall on the background very dark with the 7Art and light with the CV?

The OOF at 1.1 looks weird to me. What are your thoughts?
There are some limitations in what is reasonable to do with this lens. I agree with you that having such a Sonnar (while crazy) is exciting and fun. I may have paid $250 for a new lens as a special sale. I wonder at which aperture this Sonnar lens behaves OK. Maybe 2.8 or 4?
You find it best working on your Monochom. Why? Are colors off?
Not Mine, Neither one! The 50/1.0 is already paid-in-full. The Nokton 50/1.1 is very similar to the 50/1.0 Noctilux- except 1/10th the price. The 50/1.2 Nokton is very sharp, renders beautifully, and focuses to 0.7m. It's about the same size and weight as a Nikkor 50/1.2 Ais.
