Just for the shades of gray. Boats up on the hard in the West Mooring Basin, Astoria, Oregon, where they will see the winter through. Leica M8.2, quite likely the Canon 28mm LTM f/2.8. Possibly the Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4 II MC. Not sure. UV/IR filter regardless; always.

The range of middle tones of the M9M is its signature. Interesting to watch someone like Rob, familiar with medium format, go from wet feet to wading confidently in the middle of the river - already I’d say.
