Sneaky (cat!)

There was a cat in my neighborhood who, although he had a home, liked being outside always. Neighbors would provide a little house on their porch with a plugged-in heating blanket, food, water, but the cat liked to be out in the wild, even in the snow. A very hardy cat who lived a long, good life.

Sneaky likes to be out during the day, but if its REALLY cold, he pussies out and turns around when I open the door and he feels the cold hit him. He always sleeps inside though. I don't think he liked being outside 24/7 before he met me.

For the last several days, Sneaky has been UNHAPPY about his food. I haven't had any leftover meat to add to his canned cat food for a few days, and he's been really outspoken about his displeasure.

Last night at MIDNIGHT, he was hounding me really hard, so I decided to go outside and grill some chicken for him. Yes, he is that spoiled. I took two chicken tenders out to my outdoor grill. I showed them to him before I went out, and he got EXCITED. The entire time they were grilling, he constantly paced back and forth trilling and loudly meowing.

When I brought them in on a fork, I went to the cabinet to get him a plate and he ran up and grabbed a big chunk of meat right off the fork and ran off with it! I took what was left and tore it into pieces for him and gave him the plate.

I figured he would eat part of it and I would save the rest to 'season' his cat food with the next day. While he was eating, I went to the living room. A few minutes later, my son goes to the kitchen then comes to ask me how much chicken was left; he thought I had already put away what Sneaky didn't eat. I had NOT. That greedy cat ate ALL OF IT. Two big fat chicken tenders, all at once. He had licked the plate CLEAN.

When I went out to check the meat on the grill, I came back to the house to see Sneaky looking out the storm door window at me! "Hurry up, I'm STARVING!"

This is how much he ate!

Wait… wait…. Sneaky is unaware of the supply chain shortages?

That’s awesome. Sometimes my neighbor will be grilling outside on a late winter night. For some reason I find this wonderfully comforting. Many extra Karma points to you!

Of course he's unaware. Those concerns are for the commoners....
Of course, of course… how silly of me. The ways of Royalty escaped me as I weakly foraged the remaining morsels out of my small Cheetos bag.

Apropos of nothing, I just discovered there are cat coins:

http://www.lynncoins.com/CAT_gold_coins.htm

As with Bitcoin, surely there must be a limited production of SneakyCoin bearing His Likeness.

(EDIT: I see these coins are completely sold out - no surprise)

Last night, we grilled steaks for dinner and I also grilled a chicken tender for Sneaky. He likes it if I mix chicken and steak together, so he got the leftovers from the steaks my son and I ate, plus the chicken tender. He spent most of the night after eating stretched out by my stacks of books on the living room floor!

He's been complaining a lot the last few days because of the lack of meat to add to his cat food. A couple days ago, he sat staring at the plates in the sink for a long time while trying to guilt me into giving him meat. I didn't have any because Mr. Piggy ate too much of it the previous day!

Sneaky sleeping in the crappiest place in my house, lol. He LOVES those poop emoji pillows! He spent a while sleeping on my lap on the sofa last night, then moved over to the poop pillows.

In other news, I have to confess that my kitty has a problem: DRUGS!

He goes crazy for catnip, so when saw that they had Temptations treats with catnip in them at Kroger a few days ago, I bought a pack. The first time I opened the pack, Sneaky tried to climb my arm to get them and tried to take my hand off when I was pouring out a few in my hand to give him! Now, he's refusing to eat unless I add some of those treats to the food! The regular food-flavored treats are addictive enough, adding catnip basically made them into Feline Crack!

When does Sneaky enter rehab?

Rehab is for kitties with a drug problem. Sneaky says his only problem with drugs is that his stupid human slave won't give him enough.

Catnip with his grilled steak would be nice.

That reminds me of this article about Gordon Ramsey. Chef Ramsey says that customers in his restaurants have asked him to sprinkle COCAINE on their food! Sneaky already demands that I add the Catnip treats to his food.

Last night Sneaky ate well. We had steak and grilled chicken tenders, and Sneaky got a big plate with a mix of both meats. Got a photo of him licking his lips as he ate!

The night before last Sneaky was getting cranky because I had been out of meat, so I grilled him two chicken tenders. Like last time, the little piggy cat ate them both, leaving NOTHING to save for later. He was less gluttonous with last night's meal, so he'll have some to eat today.
