Post Your Film Images Here

Looking through some old digital contact sheets this morning. We were at my mother-in-law's house shortly after she passed away. You know, that sad ritual of cleaning, sorting, discarding, and distributing what's left of a life. I found her Nikkormat and 55 Micro. I was all digital at the time but bought a roll of XP2 and took a drive.

I just love this Helen. reminds me Christian Boltanski's work but with your unique signature.

I did not know his work, and had to google his Life and Art
Lovely of You , Thank You for the compliment, comparison 'Karlin'

Very much enjoyed and touched looking at his photos and installations.
A sad, troubled Life but He transformed it into works of Art... Beautiful

Took this shot 10 years ago. Found a Minolta X700 with a 50mm f1.7 Rokkor that I only bought for 50bucks to get the lens so it could go on my micro four thirds camera. Tried the Minolta anyway and loved it. Ilford FP4+
Just rediscovering film now again.

Aaaaah, to be so easily entertained. Lovely capture of a beautiful time we all shared but most have forgotten.

ha, so true !
yet I ever Aspire to those moments of innocence & curiosity
something Age and Society try and strip You of ...

Thanks much 'brusby' !

I worked with a high-school art teacher in the mid-nineties at a high-tech company we were both employed. She invited us to use the darkroom at a regional high-school she taught part-time at. Shuffling through some boxes yesterday, I came across this image I took. I think I used my Leica M6 and 35 Summicron v4 with a red filter for dramatic effect. Shot on either HP5 or Tri-X and printed on Kodak Polycontrast RC paper I believe.

Anyway, my meager attempt at darkroom work :) (Scanned with my iPhone)
