Post-Modernism begat Minimalism and Conceptualism begat The Bechers.
Sadly, they themselves begat the Dusseldorf School, the rousing Alma Mater of which was composed by Philip Glass. (ok, not really but it would be fitting)

After seeing the William Klein show at the ICP, this will be next on my list. Thanks for posting.

Well, your chronology is a bit off, but your sentiments are correct.

I suspect that will be a let-down, but you can reimburse yourself by going to the Klein show again.

Really?
I think I can figure that out all by myself, thank you very much. It is not like I don't know what to expect.

I'm really annoyed at the Met for finishing the show just 5 days before I get to New York. I really like that whole photographic movement. I looked into ordering the catalogue but it's $55 just to ship it to Australia. I'll just have to buy one when I'm there and schlep it home.
