This selfie was taken in the room I stayed in for a few nights in a place called Isisford in far North Queensland at a wonderful old pub called Clancy's Overflow. It was pretty run down and my room had a distinct slope on the floor but this old hotel and Isisford itself were the highlight of my driving holiday.

Stored in the desks of Lotte (South Korea) hotels, you will find, not a Gideon's Bible, but The Sorrows of Young Werther by Goethe. In fact, the Lotte conglomerate was named after the character Charlotte.
