2013: Silver Saddle Motel in Boulder Colorado. The upholstery smelled of sweaty bodies, but the fully equipped kitchen was a nice touch.

The best camera is one that still works!
This selfie was taken in the room I stayed in for a few nights in a place called Isisford in far North Queensland at a wonderful old pub called Clancy's Overflow. It was pretty run down and my room had a distinct slope on the floor but this old hotel and Isisford itself were the highlight of my driving holiday.
