I don't like to make excuses, but I was using a manual focus lens on my camera and I did not nail the focus on this shot.
Normally I would delete an out-of-focus picture like this in my self editing review process. However, given the rarity of this motorcycle and the realistic chance that I'll never see another BSA on the road in Yokohama again, I'm posting this picture.

Having been around bikes most of my life you soon learn that it's technique. I remember as a scrawny fifteen year old kid, admiring a Velocette single at a bike shop and being told by the owner that if I could start it I could take it for a ride. To his amazement I did ... he stuck by his offer and I was gone half an hour on it. 😆^ There were times when trying to start those huge singles you may of thought otherwise of them 🙂 . Peter
That's pretty rare ... I've only ever seen one of those in the flesh. 🙂1967 Kawasaki W1 650![]()

My goodness ... I haven't seen you in ages my friend. 🙂
My scoot, which I inherited from my bride, is the xtown 300i. We got her a Suzuki burgman 400. We previously had Kymco People S250s. I much like Kymco's toughness ...X-Town 250 ( or 125) by Kymco

i should get one myself
Do you remember the brand of the attached seat, and where you bought it? My Honda also has a sloping seat and I think this would make for a much more comfortable ride.the xtown 300i.
I just noticed this Kawasaki has pipes/mufflers that look like they came off a Triumph.![]()

They are known as a Burgess silencer. Still available in the UK but not cheap.I just noticed this Kawasaki has pipes/mufflers that look like they came off a Triumph.
I'm curious if it sounded like a Triumph.
Having grown up next door to a Triumph owner I've had that 'sound' ingrained in my brain since forever. They are known as a Burgess silencer. Still available in the UK but not cheap.
It is Venticell, well made and moderate in price ...Do you remember the brand of the attached seat, and where you bought it? My Honda also has a sloping seat and I think this would make for a much more comfortable ride.
