Excellent news! I know I was using information from your metering lessons when out using my new-to-me L-308 for the first time yesterday, I can only imagine how many others have been helped by you.

Very nice, Chris! I've been working with Vuescan since about 1999 or so ... jeez, the years fly by! ... and it remains the only scanning app I want to have anything to do with. I use it (only occasionally nowadays) to drive my ancient Epson 2450 and Nikon LS-50 scanners. It drives the Epson 7100 multifunction pretty nicely too.

I've only skimmed through your tutorials so far, but they look very good to me: I've saved links to them. I'll go through them in detail once I get some new film up and ready for scanning. :)

Dear Chris,

Congratulations!

It must make you happy that your hard work and dedication is getting wider views.

Hopefully, it gets you some other rewards as well.

You are a kind and generous soul, people like yourself deserve recognition.

Thanks, Tim. I've gotten $30 in donations since the newsletter was put online :p This year in general has been pretty bad for that, and for print sales, too. I think people are trying not to spend money right now because of economic worries.

I know I need to toss something in the tip jar one of these days soon :)
