Global warming is at the tipping point right now, and researchers are saying because of geography that temperature rise here in the U.S. will be about 5-6 degrees on average.
Separately they reported a few years ago that Toronto Canada will have the same sub tropical climate of NYC. The research is indicating that the effect of global warming will become even more dramatic than what we already have experienced.
I speculate that where I live in Peekskill that the climate and growing season will change and approach that of further down south along the coast, where we end up being like maybe Baltimore.
Heated hot air can hold a lot more moisture, so bigger storms and heavier rains are predicted.
Some parts of the country will lack water to the extent that deserts will spread, and our food chain is in danger. Water shortages will become an even bigger problem.
The Baby-Victorian sits about 75-80 feet above sea level, but water that falls in Blue Mountain nearby percolates and 2-3 days later floods basements of some of my neighbors after very heavy raining. Today I am not considered a flood zone, but 50 years ago it was. So far I have a dry basement.
As a consequence of global warming pretty much I’m expecting a rather drastic change in climate where here in the lower Hudson Valley the temperature range will be similar to somewhere along the mid-Atlantic. Snow might be a rare occurrence and might only happen in the mid-Hudson Valley and further north. The Adirondacks climate might not change as much because of altitude.
Our home is nested in a valley within a valley. We are somewhat sheltered, even though we are close enough to the Hudson River to hear the diesel locomotives of Metro North and Amtrack on the Hudson Line. My worry is that my basement may not remain a dry basement… Otherwise we are in a good location. My danger from flooding is through percolation I figure.
I already know that the Hudson River has a narrow choke point at West Point which is just north of Peekskill. There flooding is really dangerous and life threatening.
That storm that destroyed a good part of Vermont and killed a woman near West Point was a record setting amount of rain, and we remained high and dry. My erosion control on the slope in the back-backyard suffered no damages, but I guess what I’m saying is that I’m preparing for a future with even bigger storms and more frequent downpours as well as more sustained heat waves with dangerous heat indexes.
I’m pretty sure I would not want to live in a beach house or flood zone; or own a home further south; or even out west. A 5-6 degree change I figure is a few climate zones, and where I live is already a zone 6b and right on the fringe of zone 7.
Kinda insane to live in Texas or FLA or moving there.
Anyways, I expect this reported 5-6 degree change to be rather drastic and dramatic.

Research performed by Cornell indicates that the risk of a 100 year storm has now a shorter term of being every 25 years, or 4 times the risk/chance.
Also the average temperature change of 4.5-6 degrees is projected to be 2050 and is a longer timeline. Sea level is projected to rise 8 inched to 30 inches.
For Peekskill USDA growth zone 8 is plausible. The question is the timeline: some studies suggest a drastic change; others suggest a more gradual transition. Both seem plausible, but all the data suggests that New York will experience a more severe rise in average temperatures than global and national averages.
Already we have mild winters with barely any snow accumulation last winter. No snow accumulation in the lower Hudson Valley seems to be the future.
Also NYC is a big major “Heat Island.” I added 5 years to my life expectancy by moving out of a polluted urban environment.

“Maggie” is going to get interviewed and profiled in a prominent New York publication. Pretty much a profile. The curious thing is there seems to be a somewhat two week deadline, and that this profile might involve a photo shoot.
It also kinda makes no sense that this publicity involves the book release in the middle of March next year. This seems a bit way to early to be part of a marketing campaign for the book release. Hmmm.
Anyways seems like an early promotion that sets a foundation for more to come that will be part of a buildup.
This is a very curious sich-E-A-tion. Kinda out of the blue in a ways.

I ordered a set of Maxxis Minion DHF tires in a 2.5 width. Pretty much the Fat Chance Yo Eddy will be a fat tire hardtail with a Rock Shox SID.
While the overall bike is undergoing a weight reduction, the rotating mass (wheels) will experience a weight gain. Not a bad trade off for Blue Mountain where I hope I do not stay so ”underbiked.”
The nice thing about a traditional mountain bike with 26 inch wheels is that they are lighter than say a 29’er or a full suspension bike, unless you spend something like $13K for an IBIS Excie as a full carbon bike. I may not be able to bomb on the downhills, but at my age all I want to do is stay on the pedals and ride. Basically speed or doing crazy jumps catching air is what I want to avoid.

It feels a little weird that anyone that knows “Maggie” also knows who I am.
Some personal info that will be published in the book also will become public information.
Anyways things are speeding up. The middle of March is not so far away. I expect more kinda crazy stuff will be happening.
So far this is mostly print media, but next will be TV, video, and news organizations. Don’t forget that Maggie had/has all these news outlets on broadcast news. Things can get very crazy.
Anyways I can feel that groundswell I mentioned happening. I hope it does not turn into a fenzy.

Had to drive to Lawn-Guy-Land to the oral surgeon again. We are hoping that the possible bruising is not too bad. There can be a delay of 4-days…
”Maggie” has a gig where she is on some panel at Parson’s…
The black-eye from a head butt from the grandson looks a lot better, but there is still a trace.
Had to stock up on soft foods at Trader Joe’s.
To pass the time waiting I started reading a book by Jessica Elephante who was formally a marketing executive and a Digital Influencer, who experience ”Digital Burnout” like Maggie.
The book expands on stuff I already know that I write about here on this thread. Capitalism; commercialization; consumerism; and commodification are spelled out as the 4-C’s. The book tells of how we are programmed, manipulated and exploited. There is some science involved also.
As I read, I learn that I’m not immune, but I am also then again a bit independent. My values, my identity, my personality, and my history have done well to intervene.
I minimize my digital footprint, and I also don’t answer survey’s because to me giving data away is another form of working for free and allowing others to profit. In other words a different form of slavery.
I am under the belief that the world would be a better place without cell phones, especially smart phones.
I don’t watch much TV because it to me is passive and kinda makes people stupid.
Anyways J.E. calls herself out and says what she was/is a “Bullshit Artist.” She is coming clean and being honest. BTW she was very good at what she did.
In this thread I mention B.S. A lot and frame it as a waste of time. B.S. dilutes having meaning in your life.
Ironic though that I’m studying B.S. LOL. To waste time in a waiting room.

I am grooming the grandson into a biker-baby. At 15 months he still is too short to reach the pedals, but I put him on the seat and we do laps through the dining room, kitchen, hallway, and living room. Pretty much his favorite pastime.
He expresses his love for the bike by hugging it. He also admires “Maggie’s” Yo Betty stored in the hallway, and my Yo Eddy stored in our living room. Both of these bikes date back to 1997.
I have to cut some blocks and get some large rubber bands to shorten the pedal stroke.
His sister is a scooter-gal, and is not interested in bikes. She is 9 and does not know how to ride a two-wheeler. I don’t want this to happen to him. Bikes are cool.
In the spring I think he will like riding in our dead end. Our diagonal neighbor has a son that is about 4 months younger.

We bought an old house to recreate and make it our own. It is small by American standards, lacks closet space, and pretty much went unloved even though there was a housing shortage. We did end up with a second complete building lot that came with the deal as a hidden bonus.
I bought a used 7 year old car with only 16K miles on it. New enough for me. Now I’m spoiled by the AWD, the leather heated seats, and the comfort of an Audi.
Our house is getting updated and restored, but not in a HGTV way. We honor the old details, no opened space because we kept the house cozy. No vinyl fences like our neighbors. Somehow our house has become the cutest and most comfortable looking on the street.
In many ways we did not fall into the marketing traps. I can’t wait to build me some carriage doors for the detached two car garage, and add in a new hip roof.
Pretty much in Westchester people do not park their cars in their garages. I think I’m the only one who uses their garage to shelter their cars.
It is interesting how “Maggie” got swept up into capitalism by becoming not only ”The Accidental Icon” but also the inadvertent Digital Influencer. The “Hamster-Wheel” that generated lots of money and fame, but somehow she lost her values.
I wonder if this book getting published will become a “Chapter Two.”
I’m not so innocent here either. I went along with the ride, and in fact I have been a big enabler, supporting Maggie’s actions either through doing photography, or offering mucho support, and taking up the slack.
On one hand I have to say it is exciting, and it is a curious path to explore that many never gain entrance. Certainly I gained some experiences, adventure and some travel. Not sure if it made me happy though…
I think I get a lot more reward just working on my house to be honest. Glamour is not so engaging as I thought. I still feel like an outsider who is out of place, even though we get treated like we are special. Pretty much we enter a world of fantasy and make believe, and then we come home to our reality.
The publishing world is very much a gated community. I came close to gaining entrance: once was being on the short list to attend Breadloaf Writers’ Conference. This is an event where every year about 235 people get invited to attend, and to attend you have to be invited and selected. If someone could not attend then I might of. At Breadloaf pretty much you gain entance to the gated community and for two weeks you meet and eat with publishers, editors, and agents.
Then I had a story that Paula Deitz liked who is the Editor of The Hudson Review. Pretty much an unknown writer publishing in The Hudson Review would have agents and publishers tracking him or her down. It ended up that I did not get past a review board. My story after getting approval by the editor, got killed by a review board.
There are other examples of where I got honorary mentions and runner up. “Close but no cigar.” I say. I know artistic despair and the crushing depression it can bring. At this point I’m like John Goodman when asked about loosing the opportunity for an Academy Award after the show got canned after the Roseanne scandel.
“I’ve been nominated 6 or 7 times, and if I have not won by now it will never happen,” he said. He spoke this without bitterness and matter of fact ly.
”Maggie” got a top Literary Agent from CAA. She got this representation because of her fame and social media following. I think the book is timely, has a voice, and will speak to many. I will not be surprised if it becomes a best seller.
I have learned the process that Maggie went through. It is fraught with mucho B.S. I wish her the best because she deserves it, but my own failures in publishing involved different times (about 20 years ago), and in foresight today I’m cool that I got rejected, turned down and was discouraged. I’m a better and happier man today because I tried my best and then moved on.

Pretty much I have to be ready for a dual Christmas, where one Christmas get together I am obligated to make a 40-50 pound LA-Zon-yea. Because I use so much meat and cheese it gets mucho costly.
Shop Rite has a sale on sausage, so I think I will choke the Christmas guests with my sausage that I boil for 5 minutes to reduce the fat, grill to brown up, and then simmer in sauce for hours to soften, tenderize and pretty much melt in your mouth tender.
A key element is about 5 pounds of onions that get carmelized into a tennis ball sized mass that I use to sweeten the sauce. So just these two steps require a lot of time.
I think I need to get a head start and begin rounding up the ingredients. I might go with 15 pounds of sausage and moderate the ground beef to perhaps 10 pounds.
I use a 7 inch deep turkey tray as my container.
Today I did the maintenance on the Dyson air purifier/humidifier. I love how EZ-PZ is the procedure. Not messy and pretty much all I have to do is soak the wicking cartridge in the tank with the 150 grams of powdered citric acid inthe machine’s tank installed for an hour. After that just rinse thoroughly and refill.
Although the Dyson is rated for a small space it does a decent job of getting close to the ideal humidity I seek of 50% in a larger space than its advertised capacity. The trick Iearned is to increase the setting to 60% to get 50%.
Pretty much the settings are just “funny-numbers.”
I think I get away with this because our heating is not forced hot air. Using oil and our radiators it does fine, but the mini-splits are like a forced air system and the Dyson struggles.
I think I might get some further leeway when using my mini-splits if I increase the settings further, but the speed of the fan might get fast and noisy.
I think with a fish tank that uses an aerator could make up much of the difference needed. “Don’t tell “Maggie.”
i think I will get a bell for the grandson’s tricycle as a stocking stuffer. I’m also designing riser blocks for his pedals. I think I have enough wood scraps on hand, and I’ll use this excess elastic that I have as an art supply intead of oversized rubber bands to secure the pedals platforms.
So far no real swelling on Maggie’s mouth. The pain and discomfort of yesterday is greatly diminished. Thursday is her gig on a panel at Parson’s. This would be a good time to fry the onions. The smell is strong and lingering. Perhaps the Dyson will help mitigate the scent.
I started cleaning up my pushups, where I go lower and slower. As long as the number is 50 in a set or above it is good. At this point it is quality verses quantity.
Next on the list is getting a doorway chinning bar.
Time to do some shopping. I need to price compare cheeses. I need 10-15 pounds of cheese. I need to go to Shop-Rite for the sausage, but I’ll stop at Trader Joe’s and Stop And Shop to price the chease’s.

I ended up buying the 4 position pull-up bar instead of the 3-position or 5-position. “Extra-Medium” works for me.
Anyone who can do 10 pull-ups in a set is pretty strong. Doing 15 or more means you are mighty strong. This is an exercise that requires some discipline to improve.
If you can use your entire body as a lever you can accelerate and push big gears to go fast. No surprise that AJ can do thirty, which an amazing amount. He says it took a while, and he had to work at it.
I ended up bingeing on supplies at Shop Rite: 15 pounds of sausage; 10 pounds of ground beef; 8 pounds of Mozzarella; 9 pounds of Ricotta; 5 pounds of purple onions; and 10 containers of sauce (100% natural and no sugar added).
I had to load up, pay, and pack the first load; and then go back for seconds to get the sale price a second time. There were limits on quantity on some sale items.
The huge deep turkey trays for a 30-40 pound turkey were not available, so I bought three of the deepest smaller ones that were sized for a 20-25 pound turkey.
Figure 47 pounds dry without the pasta or sauce, just for the ingredients, uncooked. I can see filling two of the three turkey trays; the third extra is just for staging as more or less a tray.
So now my strategy is to have a tray for each Christmas event.
“Maggie”thinks I over did it, but I think I have just the right amount of food. This is a holiday and pretty much this is special. BTW our family is spread out, but everyone has sampled and enjoyed this treat. Don’t tell Maggie’s sister, but pretty much her friend’s version has been described as “lame,” and some even said, “It sucks.” Pretty much they want my man-killing version.
Worth the trip to the ER to get a stent. I hope Dave does not overdose again…
I already boiled the sausage, and after posting this I think I will grill them so they are ready for simmering in the sauce for hours.
Ho-Ho-Ho…

Sausage is in sauce in the “staging” tray. 15 pounds of sausage fills the deep tray about 3/4’ers of the way. 5 Containers of tomato sauce to cover them.
Tomorrow simmer after I get the Audi serviced and a state inspection. I’ll brown the chop meat tomorrow and add it to the sauce along with some fried fresh garlic. I’ll thicken the sauce by a long-long simmer. Some of the browned chopped beef will be kept on the side to mix with cheese to add texture to a layer. I like to add some depth…
Brutal I say.
When I layer the tray I’ll cut the sausage lengthwise. This La-Zonn-yea will likely have at least two layers of sausage, and maybe three.
This might be the deadliest one I ever made Because of the concentration of meat. I’ve made others that were mucho cheese and still a lot of meat.
”Maggie” thinks I’m starting too early, but having the sauce ready with the meat soaking is a great thing. Anyways next weekend will be busy and pretty much I have to have this done by Friday anyways. Pretty much Thursday and Friday I’ll be cooking and finishing up.
In the past it usually takes either a very long day or two days to do this feast up.
At least 4 hours just to warm up because of the weight. First dose will be on Sunday Pre-Christmas.
I can freeze the sauce and cooked meat for the second dose on Christmas.

The term Digital Dementia came about in 2012, corresponds with about the time same time as reports of depression increased. The Information Age of the past 20 years has a side effect that has been bad for mental health.
I limit my use of the Internet. I use a flip phone, and I don’t text. Pretty much I try to limit my digital footprint. I know and realize that data is being used to try and exploit me.
I rely on stimulation, excitement, and a connection to the external world without a smart phone. The data and research indicates a correlation between Internet and smart phone use with unhappiness.
BTW by one report I’m of the 17% who don’t own or use a smart phone.
I have said in the past that the world would be a better place without cell phones. Regulations have made cars safer, but highway fatalities are up. The reason cited is distracted driving.
I guess I might be judged that bikes can provide me with pleasure, Also guitars, but pretty much overuse of these devices actually have positive outcomes of mental and physical health. Pretty much good stimulation. I can’t say that about cell phones or overuse of the Internet.
I have some retirement benefit that is untaxed that pays a good part of my Medicare supplement insurance premiums. Now I have to file to get reimbursed for the premiums I laid out and get paid back. I love it. A really cool benefit from the hospital where I worked. I love that this is free money and untaxed.
A question I have is has the “Age Of Information” actually made people dumber? My belief is that people are actually being less thoughtful and are acting stupid. My belief is that AI will only compound the effect.
Alvin Toffler, a science fiction writer, wrote a book about 30 years ago called “The Fourth Wave.” He identified The Age Of Information as being a game changer, and predicted that a certain type of intelligence that could understand complexity would bypass advantages like Ivy League college education or being born into affluence.
An interdisciplinary mind was cited as a better platform for success because specialization offered not only less understanding, but also were disciplines that were rigid.
Then he cited Operation Desert Storm as being the first war fought with basically information that allowed use of precision weapons and smart weapons. Planning and use of information were key elements.
So think of how data is being utilized today to exploit the masses. Then believe it is your own best interest to protect your data, and especially not reveal and give it away. Know that I mistakenly got “A-Listed” because of data mining.
The next time you are asked o take a survey, frame it as not only giving away data, profiling, and allowing people to make money, but also that you are working for free. To me working for free is slavery.
Think about how your use of the Internet and cell phones allows others to invade and better control you. Not your best interests.

Anything that is over done can be bad for your health. All things in moderation I say. I don't do social media and I think it is evil. I do try to use the internet for it's original intent, which is information. I came across this statement today that speaks about the extraordinary things that our generation has experienced which none before ours has. Interesting point of view. The term Digital Dementia came about in 2012, corresponds with about the time same time as reports of depression increased. Austin,
Thanks for the perspective.
I certainly have lived some of that history and made some of my own.
As a baby-boomer I think we had more than our fair share of opportunity and enjoyed an abundant/disproportionate share of prosperity. We had many advantages and a growing population.
It certainly will be a tougher go for younger generations with zero population growth and an aging population.
I think because of “Maggie” I have my way to manage and moderate the digital overload in our household.
Maggie is swept up into needing the Instagram, and all this Social Media because of her book, but she can’t wait to abandoned that life.
Today Maggie had an interview with a reporter from the NYT. Pretty much a “fluff” piece that was a crazy “guided” interview. I asked her why she did not just call it quits and pretty much end the interview.
Her lifestyle surely is not moderation.

It took a while to get the cold sausages and sauce to a gentle simmer. Had to use a low temp to prevent burning the bottom of the pot.
Fried up 6 pounds of ground beef to add to the sauce. Also had to add two more containers of sauce. I still have 3 pounds of ground beef to fry up for layering, plus I saved about 1 1/2 pounds of beef I fried today for layering with the cheese layers. The full 6 pounds did not fit in the pot with the 15 pounds of sausage. Of course the pot I’m using is mucho huge.
I used a colander to drain the grease. About a quart is solidifying in a tin outside. I don’t want to clog up my new sewer pipe.
I stopped by Shop Rite to buy two boxes of lasagna. I figure only 2 pounds of dry pasta is needed. Not a lot of pasta, but mucho meat and cheese. These two deep small turkey trays could weigh 35-40 pounds each.
I figure after a long simmer the sauce in the fridge will further get embedded in the meat. The sauce is still too watery, and I need to condense it a bit. I have the lid cracked, but I might have to add some tomato paste. Another plan is take the 4 remaining containers of sauce and condense them well. This sauce will be flavored with fresh garlic that has been toasted and the carmelized onions that I will do up on Thursday.
Friday everything will get layered up.
Every time I do a lasagna it is a bit different, but I think this one could be the best. Some extra time is being spent on the meat and the sauce. Of course we all know that pasta that is leftover is different than when cooked fresh. The sauce and meat will I think take on a deeper flavor because of the refrigeration cycles.
I also figure that the watery sauce will be able to permeate the meat better and more fully.
Anyways I seem to have a propensity to go overboard, to be bold, and perhaps go a bit crazy. Pretty much my signature and my trademark.
Who would think that making a lasagna would be like some research experiment.

The pull-up bar kicked my butt. I only could do 5 “off the couch” as they say.
I could feel some crazy stretching in my upper part of my core. Then after just the 5 the abs are more deeply cut.
In my past I could regularly do a dozen pull-ups in a set, and perhaps on a good day do 15.
The 4-position bar I have set in a doorway upstairs in the smallest “bedroom” that is basically “Maggie’s” closet.
It feels good just hanging on the bar to stretch out your back and shoulders. For $50.00 I would recommend going to Dick’s Sporting Goods and picking up one. There is also a 3-position version for $40.00 and a 5-position version for $60.00.
I kinda bough me one as a selfish Christmas present.
I’m going to see if I can do another 5.

Doing a second set of 5 is not a problem. I just need to develop some strength.
Been concentrating on just pushups.

I figure by 9:00 PM it will be 5 hours of simmering.
Sometime in the middle of the night the pot should be cool enough to fit in the fridge.
We might have the grandson tomorrow, and we might have to take him to the doctor if he has the rash in the morning.
I’m finally free of the congestion and the cough I caught from him. Been free from illness for about 5-6 days.
Meanwhile “Maggie” still has a trace of a black-eye from the grandson’s head-butt.
I figure the second sauce I can start simmering to condense and thicken with the roasted garlic. The 100% natural canned sauce without any added sugar is kinda plain. Every time I do this it is different mostly because of the sauce. I guess what I’m saying is that am always experimenting. I will add Italian spices for other layers of flavor.
At Trader Joe’s we get this Indian flat bread, and it is especially great with the Trader Joe’s Provalone when baked in our toaster oven. Pretty much it simulates a nice Calzone. Add a little sausage and a taste of sauce, and it rivals the best. Very rich and taste-T.
Thursday will be onion day. I’ll also brown up the last 3 pounds of ground beef. Layers of meat….followed by layers of cheese.
Anyways feeling the Christmas spirit despite the world being a pretty complete mess.
Also otherwise 2023 for me has been a great year. I feel like I’m hitting my stride and that 2024 will be another great year. Progress is happening, the heavy lifting has been done, and now more time for biking, fitness, and perhaps building out workspaces.
I’m not in a rush because rushing around I don’t do anymore. Time is my friend at this point, and I think Maggie has settled down which makes me happy. She basically has no time for BS and does not want to waste her life.
I still have to get the Audi the New York State Inspection. The oil change got performed. 10K miles on the oil this year. I get it changed annually, but generally I only do about 7K miles a year.
I looked at an Audi RS5. What a car, but $90K and figure $100K with tax.
Did a third set of pull ups, but only 4. Kinda funny how the core got UBER defined.

I never knew those existed; I looked it up - thought RS were just estates/station wagons.

Nightlight,
During the Covid Lockdown we all suffered isolation. The idea is to have a safe space for having a voice, platform, and nothing crazy like Social Media.
Many of the lurkers, viewers and participants are people I know either for a long time, are real friends who I know in person and socialize and get together outside of the NYC Meet-Ups.
The reach is kinda wide and people here know each other from all over the world.
There are many-many interesting people who are involved here that not only are interesting persons, but also serious artists.
BTW “Calzone” is a persona that emulates a tough guy from Brooklyn, but in real life I’m this almost 66 year old man trapped in a lean muscular body of a perhaps 15-16 year old. Much of my banter is about the change in life because of retirement. I grew up poor, escaped poverty, and had a very remarkable life.
I worked at Grumman for 17 years involved with research and had a Secret Security Clearence. I also worked at two National Labs: one was a Los Alamos building a Neutral Partical Beam Accelerator to shoot down ICBM’s; the other was at Brookhaven National Labs building a Super Conducting Heavy Ion Collider that is 2.6 miles in circumference. Then I worked at two major NYC hospitals as a Cyclotron Engineer for 22 years.
Know that my technical education is limited to only a six month vocational training in electronics, but I got an education at Grumman working in research labs working one-on-one with PhD scientists to get an education you could not get at a university like MIT.
During these decades of work I was a fine art painter/visual artist, a performance artist, and then a non-fiction writer. I have a BA in visual arts; a MA in Communication Arts; and finally a MFA in Creative Writing. I figure my school loans will be paid off when I’m 70.
So now I’ve been retired for 2 years. With Covid two great things happened: one is we bought a Baby-Victorian Craftsman house in the Hudson Valley in a rivertown 40 miles north of NYC; then I retired early when I was only 62. I try to give insights of the change of life.
I would love to own a RS5, but I figure that would be “mad-money” and would require having the cash in the bank to fund that purchase. Somehow my delusions actually become reality. This talent is kinda remarkable. My co-worker Jack at Grumman once said, “You step in shit, and the next thing you know is that you open a fertilizer company.”
”Maggie,” my gal is a celeb, formally was a Digital Influencer with about a million followers. Somehow she got represented by CAA agency for her literary agent. This is the big time, and her book “How To Be Old” will be launched on March 12th of next year.
Maggie and I are also signed with an agent in London as models. Our agent is again top notch, and perhaps with a few modeling gigs I might actually have the cash on hand for a RS5. BTW I would just ride and drive my 2015 A4 that now has 37K miles. When I bought this car three years ago it only had 16K miles. I’d just sit on the money keeping the cash growing untill I real;ly need a new car.
Pretty much I live a life where the only person I need to impress is myself. Also know that part of me is really a loner, and I get great pleasure from my artistic solitude.
Just think of this thread as a support group. We are all friends.
Check out Maggie’s web site at www.AccidentalIcon.com and her Instagram IconAccidental. You should follow the links to her sub-stax.
One thing I learned from Maggie is, “If you want to stand out, don’t do what everyone else is doing.” Our use of the Leica Monochrom for fashion photography when she first started her blog a decade ago on a lark, led to a good deal of “traction” that led to big gigs, fame, and signing with an agency.
