Place the cursor where you want the image to appear.

For example, say you want the image to be located after the word "appear."
Move the cursor after "appear."
Then click on this icon
to insert the image.
Drag and drop the image, or click to choose the image.
Alternatively if your image is linked, first obtain the URL to the image, then click on the link icon and paste the URL.

Yes, drag/drop also works! Uploaded images will be reduced to 1600 on the longest side.

You can also drag and drop an image from the Photos app on a Mac after you click the insert image button on RFF. I often take photos with my iPhone and when the app syncs with iCloud I drag images from there via the Mac application.
