All three of us ;) in the US who shoot color transparencies know that Fufichrome in all its incarnations is essentially unavailable. Some say Fuji is no longer making color transparency film; others say that "supply chain issues" have led Fuji to restrict their limited production to Japanese distribution. In any case, I'm seeing Provia 100F in 120 for sale on Amazon, from Japan. Does anyone have any experience purchasing this or other Fujichrome films from Amazon? My major concern is freshness, not price, as the cost of film has become absurd regardless.
And if anyone knows for certain what is going on with Fuji's film production, I'd be interested to know that as well! Thanks, all.

Unfortunately no certain news about film production. They are investing heavily in Instax, which is also film, and with that it seems that they are just prioritizing it.
Provia in 120 has had some batches (exp fall 2025) that have been reaching Europe and selling out instantly (ha, pun). Haven't seen much or any of Velvia. 35mm Fujichrome seems to be more available.

Not really the most helpful, I am based in EU and actually never purchased film off Amazon. I do recall (will need to Google that for the actual source) that there was some discussion in Social media of a Portra batch from Amazon US that exhibited Xray/CT scanner damage.
