I am unable to be there. I have new glaucoma drops Which have aggravated and inflamed my eyes terribly. That is OK but the side effect is that I am terribly light sensitive. I was OK in the overcast here yesterday. But as soon as I saw sun down the coast in Seaside I was pretty much blinded. So I am home wishing I were in PDX. I had PIxii all packed, with spare batteries, for the trip up "show and tell" and was looking forwrd to meeting Helen H even if in spirit only. Next time.

You know I am sorry I could not drive to make it up there. I am sure I missed a good time but you two, plus Helen, had a good time. I will be there for the next one and hopefully we can do that soon. I assume you both made your bonds and were back out on the street right away. ;o)
This was the 7th, let's shoot for the 5th of October, same time, same place. Hopefully Evergreen States can make that, Helen will get her seat of honor and the ophthalmologists will have me straightened out by then. As I can come up to PDX on I-5 I can swing through Vancouver to pick up Evergreen States if they can get to where I can find them easily. Not only would that double the attendance it would also square it. Think about the mathematical possibilities! In a year we could populate the state! Onward and upward! ;o)

I can tentatively make Saturday 5 October at noon at Crema Coffee + Bakery on 2728 Ankeny St. I'll have to hammer out details as the date gets closer. I may or may not take you up on the offer of a ride and I will DM you here to exchange contact info sometime between now and then if I do elect to.
I hope you get some relief from that glaucoma pain with those drops! That redness is gnarly!

Thanks for the good wishes on the eyes. The irritation has subsided. I drove to Beaverton yesterday for a feast on Korean food. It was good. A tip from a Korean about where they eat. I like the funky joints so long as the food is good. The food:

I kind of figured same place at the same time, just different date. Bring that old glass plate view camera for us to see. Again, when the cops come through the door everyone runs for a different exit and no one gives their right name if caught. No, no, no, never. ;o)
