That's a 1955.

I still think it was the best looking of that generation (1955 - 1958). That Ferrari-like egg-crate grill just does it for me!

(I know it's sacrilege, but I never liked the 1957, which seems to be everyone's darling.)

Thinking about it - I have to agree. It has the best, cleanest lines overall.

Man, to think that panda Eight-Sixes were once common as dirt. I always liked that body style, and was well aware of the DOHC + 5-speed options. Never did get one, but that's okay, because I've had Honda and Mazda cars with similar.
