So payday is Friday, I can afford to splurge for myself one new-to-me toy. I have pretty much narrowed it down to one of two things:
A used Pentax HD DA 15mm F4 ED AL Limited lens for my Pentax K-5 kit
Or:
A chrome Nikon F2 body with plain prism from 1980. Very late serial, nearly the end of production.
There's only ~$9 difference between them so that's no help
I know what Sonnar Brian would say! Anyone else?
(oops, meant to put this in general discussion...)

Lens is much more practical for photography. Especially WA.

I don't photograph in bathtubs or small closets, so I'd go with the F2.

No reason why they should be, unless irreparably broken, which seems unlikely for an F2.Film cameras are mostly decorative items these days.

To make it reason OP will have to wait for next year bonus to get reasonable amount of film and else.No reason why they should be, unless irreparably broken, which seems unlikely for an F2.
And who knows. Maybe girlfriend with steady income and free attic.

I ordered the HD DA 15/4 this morning, putting off the F2 till the next paycheck. Perhaps, with luck, I'll get a offer for a discount too

Anyone else got Christmas presents for themselves in mind?
I've just discovered that the No2 Portrait Brownie comes with the same three apertures as the ordinary No2 Brownie, for me that's a full-on photo system! Very tempted...
