-I cropped the sky out a little on this image. There wa some spotting visible. I am not sure yet if it is due to development of pinholes. They are not black so very unlike pinholes.

Very nice. AFAIK pinholes are associated with focal plane shutters. I haven’t heard of them in (metal) leaf shutters.

Folding cameras often have pinholes in the corners of the bellows. Not so often with Zeiss who used good quality leather but it always depends on how they were used and stored.

Thanks, that makes sense. I’d thought that bellows light leaks would appear as flare in the image rather than spots, unless perhaps if the pinhole is located close to the film plane. Would this be correct?

Black spots are dust on the film itself before it got exposed. Most likely due to the camera being old and the bellows being dusty.
Especially if it gets folded and unfolded on the same exposure repeatedly before shooting it.

It's always a good idea to fold and unfold any folder a couple of times with the lens facing the ceiling and then giving it a once-over with the rocket blower. Helps a lot with such issues.

Edit: In the spirit of the thread.
