W/NW - Classic Cars

Ok, clearly I didn't nail the focus on this picture. I was caught off guard and only had a split second window of opportunity to get the shot; there was no second chance. However, I feel the car is to nice not to post the image anyway.

Porsche 356B Karmann Notchback. It’s a cabriolet with the optional hardtop welded on by the factory. People used to cut off the hardtop to make a cabriolet, which it is underneath. Not many have survived intact for this reason. Very cool.

Bob, some custom bodywork there turning a 4-door sedan into a 4-door convertible! Impressive. Is that a '57 Plymouth? I visited a shop in Havana that did that kind of work. Nice photo!

Doug: yep. This one definitely looks like it started life as a '57 Plymouth or Dodge 4 door sedan. But you can get good money renting your convertible for events such as this 15 th birthday or thrilling tourists with rides. This one is in Holguin. There is a converted '59 Caddy Sedan de Ville in Havana. Well done but it looks way out of proportion.
