The Kodak logo is chic apparently?

I bought one of these shirts at H&M in Canada. Does that make me chic?

I think Kodak was used as an easy "basket case" candidate by so-called management consultants giving training courses 10-15 years ago (I certainly suffered one or two). Most of them were too lazy do do any work and picked a name that everyone knew and everyone thought had gone. As we know they are still here in some form and I'm quite happy to share a bit of my nostalga with the world (Kodachrome 64 tshirt to be exact as I used it and loved it). I suppose that a lot of the clothing stuff pays no licencing fees though as they are small run, print to order, and hard to trace (I suspect that H&M did however, I just don't know to which Kodak).

I sometimes enjoy the irony sporting logos and images for defunct brands and products.
The Pan Am museum sells a replica of the Pan Am flight bag that the Beatles were photographed using. I actually wouldn't mind one of those, it looks like fun.

As for the Kodak logo, there are t-shirts with the Kodak logo, even a rather nice yellow one with a big logo on the front.

I’m chic too!!

I worked at Kodak for about 10 years as a technical trainer and installer. I’ve got about three versions of the shirt. I also have 3-4 large yellow Kodak beach towels. We also had a plastic Kodak cooler that looked like a box of film - not sure where that is anymore…

Many years ago I worked for a printing company that got a contract from Kodak (The Rochester Kodak). The company had to sign an NDA on the ink formulation used to print "Kodak Yellow" - and before you ask, I wasn't in the loop on that one, - but if I were. I would not be disposed to discuss such matters.
