W/NW The Pacific Northwest

Hi everyone - ended up on RFF after searching around for some ancient forum wisdom on a camera repair topic. Sure enough my old login that I used for buying/selling back in the day still worked. Some immensely cool stuff in this thread and love that it started out with Richland. I spent some time there in addition to West Seattle and everywhere in between - including the Olympic peninsula and my personal favorite: the Mt. Margaret backcountry (Mt. St. Helens) where I made numerous backpacking trips. @Guth I've stood in that exact spot quite a few times and it's lovely.

Here's a quick selection of some relevant NW photos. Mix of Leica M6, Mamiya 6, and Pentax 67 (is that allowed?).

Sidenote: the M6 in question is the same one I bought from @filmtwit over 11 years ago on here. Nice to see you, man, and thanks again 🙂

Richland apple orchards. I believe this is where the new Costco is going...

Great shots so far, I wouldn't mind if you posted more! I still haven't been to Hurricane Ridge; last time we tried, the whole mountain was socked in with fog, so we decided against it.
Thank you so much. I will post a few more shots over the coming days. Hurricane Ridge was quite an adventure. To save my money for film, I rented a very small car for the trip. I also was still a very inexperienced driver at that time. I remember that I did not always feel safe on those roads up there. Luckily, everything went well.

It's a bit surreal seeing someone else sharing pictures of my hometown on RFF, but I'm glad to not be the only one. Welcome back to the forum. I hope you continue to make use of the community here.
