Anping is a terrific area for walking around,

I have been to Tainan/Kaohsiung/Anping 4 times and 'Anping castle no longer exists'. That building is the tourist information center they erected near where the fortress once stood. I wasn’t disappointed because it was still educational.

'Anping Old Castle' '安平 古堡' is the new name for Dutch built 'Fort Zeelandia' (1624-1634), the park added several structures to become 'Anping Old Castle park' and becomes a tourist spot after Chinese Nationalist took over Taiwan after 1949, since all Zeelandia left was One, old wall...
