RayT Tell us about these interesting pictures

The first two were taken when masks were mandatory in Hong Kong and I wanted to do some mask shots. The first one was a random person in the metro tunnel. I couldn’t pass up the mask and the patch. The man in the second one was engrossed with a movie shown at the window of a video store. He seemed quite emotional. The 3rd one was inside the subway tunnel in I think Yokohama a few years ago. I noticed her ice cold demeanor and took the shot when she walked under the light. Got lucky,

There’s a fun game we play with my friends, called Veloviewer Explorer. Here’s a brief description by Peter (standing on the right in the above photo):
Tiles are roughly 1x1 mile rectangles covering the surface of Earth. The goal of the game is to collect more tiles. To collect a tile, you need to visit it. Most people cycle, hike or paddle to collect a tile.
From whatistiling.com.

There were two missing “tiles” on Lake Velencei that we couldn’t reach by bike or any other way on the land, so today three of us rented a canoe, and paddled for 2.5 hours, about 11 kilometers to reach these places, and finally cover the whole area. It was the first time for me, and it was a bit windy, so we had to be careful not to get washed away by the waves, but we still had an absolute blast, as you can probably see on their faces!
