Nice catch, Dourbalistar, I don't think there's many of them on the road anywhere. Certainly none around here!

I bought a Buick like this in Mountain Home, Idaho in 1961 and drove it to Mexico City and back. It had air and leather upholstery and seemed very luxurious at the time. I'm thinking maybe I should get another one.

Nice 1956 Buick. Air conditioning was indeed a luxury at the time.

Some neighbors, when I was a kid, bought a used 1955 Buick 4-door sedan with air conditioning. It had gobs of passenger room, and it had broadening tubular ducts from the back that shot cold air directly at the ceiling. Even in the 1960s, that was exotic.
