My first roll through a Leica M3

Well after spending a bit on a rather beaten up, but fully functional old Leica M3 and a nice Elmar 50 /f:2.8, I ventured out with a roll Fuji Across 100. The results are to be seen below. This is my first Leica, and I have I have to admit that, until now I had always wondered what all the fuss was about.

Having been quite ill recently I made myself a promise that I would get one and try it, I could always sell it if I didn't like it....... well I won't be selling it!!

The shots below are not that special, but are taken at Hampton Court Palace and in Bushey Park, South West London. All were f8 or f11.

I disagree. I think they are special and very well done. I especially like the third image posted. The detail in the bricks of the 4th image is also very fine. I would like to see a print as I'm sure it shows even greater detail. It looks like the right camera is in the hands of the right photographer. Good for you. 🙂
