EXPLAIN THIS!!!!!!!

Now for me...
Vivitar 110 camera 1988 (still own)
Vivitar Screwmount something 1995 (died of alcohol on focusing screen)
Canon AE-1 Program 1996 (given away to someone interested in photography)
Mamiya C330 1998 (sold)
Canon EOS 1N 1999-2000 (sold)
Contax T2 2000 (still have and will NEVER sell)
Graphlex 2001 (sold)
Canon D30 2002 (sold)
Leica M6 2002 (owned but only shot two rolls of film in. It had shutter issues that after 6 months of repair were fixed, but I had lost faith in camera, so I got my money back)
Nikonos II (still own)
Canon 10D 2003 (sold)
Yashica 124G 2003 (still have but never use. Will replace someday with a Rollei probably)
Hasselblad XPan 2003 (still own)
Polaroid SX70 2003 (still own)
Polaroid 600SE 2003 (still own but never used)
Canon 20D 2004 (sold)
Canon SD450 2005 (still own)
Canon 5D 2005 (my main digital/color camera)
Leica M6 2006 (never ever ever ever ever getting rid of. Ever!)

uh.. I think thats all of them.... maybe... do my multiple pinhole creations count?

2001 - Polaroid Fun Flash 640 (640x480 res, 8mb internal memory, but it had an LCD and a flash)
2002 - Canon PowerShot A100 (1.3MP, no optical zoom, not much of a camera)
2003 - Canon PowerShot A70 (3.2MP, 3x zoom, this basically got me interested in creating photos and not taking snapshots)
2004 - Canon PowerShot G5 (5mp, basically an improvement on the A70. I lost the first ~5k pictures I took with this, and took about a year hiatus from photography)
2005 - Canon PowerShot SD400 (5mp, I got it so I could bring it everywhere but sold the G5 for bike parts and was out of luck for anything creative)
2005 also - Canon Digital Rebel XT (8mp, rekindled my liking for photography +100, turned it into a love and got me hooked)
2006 - Canon 1N (film, got me hooked on 'pro' bodies and slide and b&w film)
2006 - Leica M3 (Sold the rebel XT to finance it, and what this got me hooked on is going to get expensive... Damn that L-word.)

Hmm...
Played with the various instamatics my mother owned while growing up. Got to Germany in the Army (~1983) and picked up a Canon AE-1. Ironically that was about the same time my mother got serious about photography and bought ... a Canon AE-1. Then again, so did a whole heck of a lot of other people during it's run :)

Stupidly sold mine at a pawn shop, OTOH, I still have hers.

Later picked up a decent Canon Rebel XS with the kit zoom. It did me well for a decade till I started getting serious about photography. I picked up a Yashica Mat 124G and loved what that big ass*d square could show. A while later I bought a Yashica GS based on my experiance with that TLR. Trying to find out how to use it lead me here & the rest of the "road map" is a terrible blur as I bought and sold way too many cameras.

Standouts:
Kiev 4m
Kiev 5
Iskra
Moskva 5
Agfa Karat 36
Anniversary Speed Graphic 4x5
Ansco Speedex Special
Leica CL
Canon FtbN
Canon T90
Agfa Isolette III
Miniature Speed Graphic (2x3)

See my sig for what I still own of that list. It's still way too much & I really need to decide how I want to weed that list again.

I put it on the roof of my car in order to open the doors and put the shopping in. A big 4WD saw that I was a bout to leave my parking spot so I hurried up a bit, just being curtious it was after all a busy Saturday. Having a bit of a fast car at the time I guess I wanted to show off to this huge 4wd so I raced backward out of the parking spot, my camera dropped off because of the acceleration, the big 4WD joined in the fun and raced forward, I heard a crunch and guessed what happened realizing I had left the camera on the roof of my car .....

Didn't turn out bad though, the 4WD guy was very OK understood the situation and reported it to his insurence, whom partially paid for my new M6 TTL.... see alls good that ends good

Sorry about the link, I seem to have a natural aversion to pasting links :)

Iv'e owned cheap cameras over the years such as a Kodak disc and Canon sure shot owl, but my first "real" camera was a Minolta Maxxum 5. Then my grandmother gave me a Voigtlanger brillant my grandfather brought home from WW2, a Kodak tourist 2 that belonged to her dead brother, and the Brownie she used when I was a baby. This got me interested in old cameras. I read something on photosig about a canonet QL17 and looked into it. That may or may not have been the smart thing to do. I am now officially SICK.

Somebody help me!

Damn Jody! You could start a store!!

That's a painful story Magnus! At least it worked out well. I accidentally left my Contax T2 in its bag in a restaurant once. The very nice and honest busboy came running out and gave it to me in the parking lot!

As far as RFs are concerned:

Konica Hexar RF (traded in)
FED1 (given away)
Leica M4 (still have)
