No likey digital-phooey
Leica R6 and 50 f/2 Summicron-R. Sorry it's not a rangefinder but if it was only ONE camera for absolutely everything a manual non-electronic SLR would have to be it. I don't talk about my R6 on RFF but as SLR's go it's a joy. The shutter is "like buttah".

M8 and Noctilux currently from what I've owned and I've owned just about every Canon digital body and L lens you can name. Now after I acquire the 35 lux asph and 28 cron my vote may change as the 50 is a bit long on the M8 to be a 1 lens solution.

Honest? And I won't get shot for choosing digital/slr?
It'd be the D50 with 28-70/3.5-4.5, but only if I could also have my SB800.. It's the combination that's most versatile, and that I take the best pictures with..
Example: needed x-sync at 1/500.. three light sources were combined to make this picture; built-in flash at 1/16, SB-800 at 1/8 from left and the bike's own lights blazing. Shutter speed was so high that the ambient fluorescents didn't register..

That would be, without any hesitation, my Pentacon Six with the 180/2.8 Carl Zeiss Sonnar.

If you really have to make money from the pictures: Nikon D80+18-200VR.
If really would like to enjoy what you are doing and only shoot B&W
: M3+35/3.5 Summaron (or even better the 2.8).

It would have to be my M6 (original 0.72x version) with 35/1.4 pre-asph Summilux. (Can the Weston Master V and Invercone come along too?)
Mind you, seeing Max mention the Pentacon Six has me thinking seriously about the SixTL with 50 mm Flektogon...hmm
