I went to this exhibit a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was great. My favorite thing about it was seeing the shots that weren't as great. Often you would see two or three different angles of the shot that is now famous. It's good to know that many of the shots that HCB took were, just like many of ours, completely normal and not great masterpieces. I actually felt better about my own photography after having seen the exhibit.
Oh, and the DVD they play there is really nice. They don't sell it there but am looking forward to getting it. It's basically a simple slide show but the narration by HCB is really interesting.
If any NYC folks decide to meet up, let me know. It's defintiely worth seeing again. And remember, it's open late on Friday's and by donation after 5!
