C'mon guys, is Tony Rose, Mr. Popflash guy for real? Earlier this week I took possession of my first ever Leica M6 and wanting to dress it appropriately, started looking for an eveready case. First port of call were our sponsors here on Rff. As they were all within coo-ee of each other on price I thought I'd try Tony because everyone here speaks well of him. Anyway I sent off an email just to query the postage cost to Australia which at 50 bucks seemed a little high. His almost immediate reply "send me your phone number and I'll call you". Hey, Happy Valley in South Austalia isn't just 2 blocks away you know. To cut a long story short, Tony called me several hours later to explain that the post costs go in automatically based on destination but because it was only a case, he could do it for half the price. Then he just chatted for a while about his mate in Melbourne who is married to a local and so on. Needless to say he got the sale and needless to say he'll be my first port of call next time.If all internet photo shop guys in America are like Tony, no wonder you Americans seem to spend most of your time buying new gear.

Tony is indeed the real deal. I have also had good luck with him and we also had a nice phone conversation as you did. He seems to be both a good businessperson and a good guy.

I used to live near Tony when I was in California. I would go to his house to pick up the gear, so I assure you he is real. He is a very gracious host too... As far as I am concerned, the best thing about Tony is that he is on your side, no matter what. I bought my DMR from him, and it had some problems. It came back from Solms still broken, and Tony called Roger Horn and arranged for a replacement to be express shipped to me immediately. He really goes the extra mile. Even if he doesn't always have the lowest price (which he usually does), I still go to him first because I know that if anything goes wrong I can count on him. He is a real class act.

I've had the pleasure of dealing with Tony Rose a few times and was very impressed with his service. Even if I tried very hard I could not find fault with a single transaction I've had with his store. Needless to say, I'll feel very comfortable buying from Tony again.

he's great...I wont be bothering with other sellers. I had probs with my UK credit card being rekected 9 out of 10 tries even when I forewarned the CC company. It took ages for my various sales to go thru but he was patient (but then again I did spend a fortune too...!

Yep, I had great service from Tony when I needed a lens cap (http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15308). Stephen Gandy has also been a great person to deal with. Bravo!

All thumbs up for Tony from my side, too. Even though my order wasn't the biggest one, it was lightning fast, less postage than expected, no extra import taxes (which I was expecting, too).
