I've been on the fence about the M8 for a while. The M8 concept is spectacular, but the endless threads which detail long lists of irritations and problems have compelled me to put my wallet back in my pocket. But in the end, all cameras fall short of perfect, and it is up to the photographer to produce good images in spite of the limitations of the camera in hand. Your images are very pleasing and clearly demonstrate that the M8 in good hands is capable of producing excellent results. Your images, and the other more positive M8 threads posted lately have re-ignited my M8 GAS. Thank you!

beautiful, Charles. That camera sure takes nice pictures. Hyper-real, but nice.
I miss Paris to the point of suffering physical pain.

One thing that I am seeing on this forum is that the M8 photos seem overly saturated.
I was going to post a couple 90 2.8 photos from the M8 in another thread, put deleted the post after seeing how they looked very strange here.
My monitor is calibrated, the photos after PP were, sized for the web with bicubic sharpen/72 ppi, sharpened at final size, converted to 8 bit jpegs and sRGB color space. This is exactly what I always do for the web.
When posted elsewhere the photo looked normal, but here it was overly saturated.
USCCharles - Are these files overly saturated compared to on your monitor in photoshop, C1, or some other color managed software?
