CV 28/35 mini finder

I just ordered a minifinder at CQ to use the 21mm Color Skopar on the the R-D1s and the Jupiter-12 on the Kiev-4am. And the Sigma DP1 will likely be my next camera body that is slipped under this finder...

Is this finder likely to be a problem for a glasses-wearer (in terms of seeing the framelines, I'm not bothered with the scratching issue mentioned)?

I'm thinking of buying the Ricoh GR-D for my Dad but he's getting on and pretty long-sighted, and I like the idea of this minifinder more than the optional one that comes with the GR-D (too big, as is standard VC 28 finder...)

A quick bump of Terao's question and an add on. Are the 28mm framelines visible to wearers of glasses?

I wear glasses. I can see the 35mm frames but have a little trouble seen both sides of the 28mm framelines all at once. So I have to rock my head side to side a tiny bit. Magnification is 0.5.

A very thoughtful feature is that the finder has a little rubber fitting on the eyepiece to reduce the chance of scratching your glasses.

I use the regular 28mm on my GR-D and it prohibits the use of flash. The mini-finder may not do this. If you are going to use your flash on the Ricoh, then this mght beanother deciding factor.

Just got a good deal on the GR-D creative set so have the big finder on the way, but may well get this one as well and devote the Ricoh finder to a film body of mine.

I have a feeling Dad is going to love this camera 😀
