Hi folks - I've not shot Kodacrhome since the mid 80's and I have a few roles coming my way. I'm sure this has been discussed before, but can users please post recommendations for mail order processors - independent labs, that sort of thing so that I can get my nice bright colors and get those greens of summer -
Thanks all!

There are only two labs in the US that develop Kodachrome. One of them is Dwayne's in Parsons Kansas. They are also the official developer for Kodak. If you buy a Kodak pre-paid mailer for Kodachrome, it goes to Dwyane's. Here is their web site:

I sent a roll to Kodak Lausanne Switzerland recently and got the slides back in crappy cardboard mounts which has fibers sticking out into the image area! I don't know if these were processed in Lausanne or by Dwaynes.

Gamma in chicago claims (on their website) they still process Kodachrome - never used them for that but their other services are excellent.
Worth a call anyway.

I have it processed at Walmart regularly. They send it out and it comes back two weeks later and costs between $3.50 and $4.75. The slides are mounted and the quality is beautiful. Highly recommened.
