Canon LTM canon p

Canon M39 M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
I have one, but I'm not sure I want to sell it yet. There is a body focus issue that I want Essex to take a look at first.

What kind of timeline are you on?

If it has a problem i could see to it this end.

The flange to film distance got slightly off somehow - so critical focus at very wide apertures (1.2, 1.8) can be off by a few inches. It's not a problem for wider angle lenses, or when stopped down. But I shoot that 50 1.2 an awful lot, so I was going to see if Essex could work on it.

Aside from that problem, its in very good shape, CLA'd by DAG 6 months ago (where he confirmed that was the problem, and couldn't do much to correct it, aside from make sure it was even across the film plane).

PM me an offer of what you think is fair if you are interested. If not, no worries, depending on what I heard from Essex, I was considering making it a fulltime 35mm lens camera, so the focus issue would be relatively negligble.

I can post pics for you tomorrow, if you like.

canon p

Thanks everyone for your offers i now have a P lined up to replace my battered one.

Regards Ian.

A while after I got my Canon P, I ended up trading away my Canonet for another body to acompany my P. So yea if you get a Canon P, you might not be using that QL17 at all (assuming you got a nice lens with the P to match). Edit I noticed you already have a P, just wanting to replace it.

Right now I got the Canon P, with the Canon 50mm f/1.8 , the side-mounted flash gun, now I just want to find that original field case they made for the P. Hopefully you can get a P in just as nice a conditio, they're quite sexy when they're not beat up.

I might part with the 17 and put the funds towards a nice chrome 50mm as the black 50mm i have is also a bit tatty.
