This one is always on the top 5 on my flickr-scale. Why flickr-scale? because it's at least got viewed by more people than those I know personally.
At the same time, this one is special because it's the first time I use a "real" glass lens.

Probably my finest moments. He knows now not to do that, by the way. Luckily it was just a roll of cheap Fuji C41.

A phantastic picture, Shadowfox.
I have gotten lots of feedback on the following, but myself don't care as much about it. Proof is that I don't own the lens (15 Heliar) any more.

Hi Roland,
I would sound socks licking, and nevertheless not abstain to tell you I happened to see here your pic, and before looking who made it I told myself this is Ferider's.
I have not dedicated any time to review your Gallery, and the only other one I saw from you was your famous bird. The link between the two seems to be something I find hard to describe in words, but let say a special and very rare capacity to bring an image with strong tension effect although the absence of humans.
Cheers,
Ruben

Paul- more beautiful stuff from photogenic Providence. Is that first one of the stairs from RISD? Looks like the courtyard on Benefit Street where I learned to use a view camera.
-How's the move going?

My finest moment - not photographic - was the 15. Nov 2002 and one of my finest photographic moments was when Ania, my Kiev 88 and I went into a friends' friend's studio to fiddle around with some studio lights. That's the result.
Best regards,
Uwe

Roland... love that 15 Heliar shot.
My best is not an RF shot either and shot only a couple of weeks ago.
This is a wild Sharp-shinned Hawk that decide to eat it's lunch just 10-15ft away from me. You rarely get so close to a hawk without being in a blind.

I also find some of my more popular photos (based on others' opinions) to usually be the most bland and uninteresting ones (according to me), whereas photos I've been quite fond and proud of, many won't even blink in it's direction.

But personally, I don't concider them my best, but everyone else does
I find it very pleasing to look at. What film did you use? Cross processed?

That's a beautiful photo, jky! I can only imagine how great it must look in print!
