An upcoming film based on Masahisa Fukase’s life

I am fascinated by Fukase's photos. Thus far I've only known him through the "Ravens" book--a great book, for sure. Based on this thread, I've broken a promise to myself to not buy any other photo books. Ordered two of Fukase's.

The video about Fukase was interesting. However, the narrator's black gloves and his waving his hands around while speaking was distracting to say the least. Another reason why I avoid videos most of the time.

I managed to see this, it was tremendously disappointing, if nicely shot. I certainly wouldn’t go out of your way to find it. Saying why would be a total spoiler, so I’ll just leave it at that.

I'm curious where you saw it?

A sneak preview screening. I had to travel to see it.

It was live on MUBI for streaming rental briefly, but no longer appears to be. Mark Gill is trying to secure a distribution deal for a world wide release this year.
