Film Photographers in London: Photowalk Social [Theme: Night Photography]

We haven't done this for a while .... it's night time. Friday night. Looks like it's going to be warm and dry!

Film Photographers only meet up in London.

Questions: we've done a number of meetups although invariably everyone who attended is someone we know. This is the first time we've opened it up to the public.

What guidelines for newcomers to film meetups are helpful? Generally we only insist on film cameras and allow everyone to find their way in the meet ups. As it's night photography, we make sure everyone has a mode of transport home instead of getting carried away stranded in the city.

I’d say just keep it relaxed and welcoming. For newcomers, it helps a lot if there’s a simple intro at the start — like a quick meetup point, basic plan, and maybe a few tips for shooting at night.
Also pairing up people or keeping small groups can make it less intimidating. Some beginners might feel awkward at first, so having a friendly vibe is key.
And yeah, reminding everyone about getting home safely is a really good touch — easy to lose track of time on a good photowalk.
