£26 Rolleiflex a big gamble

Well its a big big gamble and l have been burnt plenty times before but thought at £25 its a chance worth taking. Listed as fully working Rolleiflex SL 35 E, body, 50mm Planner ......just hope it turns out ok winder.....l have taken a big chance

You have a few things going for you, Mike. It's got the lens cap, what looks to be the original strap, and it's not covered in dirt. Was well taken care of, and not used much from the looks of it.

I got one. They are a pleasure to use :) also, there are plenty of wonderful zeiss lenses on the cheap side, especially wide lenses.

yes the lenses do seem rather cheap on the bay, maybe because its difficult to find a working Rolleiflex SL:eek:
 
Careful- my dad bought two NIB that were DOA

The SL35 which doesn't depend on electronics, has a weak winder... Thanks rolleiflex
 
You should be able to sell on the lens for that price if the body is DOA.

I just picked up one with the Xenon 50/1.8 attached, seems to be fully working but a test roll will tell the tale.
