Thanks, Bill. The second article brought up what can be asked for by law, vs. what can be expected in reality. In a perfect world, people would respect copyright and intellectual property, and certainly not pinch for profit. But the legal system and underlying negotiation structure has it's own twists and turns.

BBC is reporting today on a new attack on web sites that support expropriation of copyrighted material. We can hope that this is an opening salvo in using the market to deny $,£,€,¥ and thereby curtail the ability of thieves to exploit the difficulty of enforcing the copyright law on the internet.
