Joe is correct. If it is such a rich language that it can not be translated, perhaps you should host your own server where you can be responsible for what goes on, rather than ask strangers to host it and share responsibility for actions which occur on the premises.

Dear photographers, Russian club means not russian speaking members, but members making their photos in russian style (who don`t know about russian school of photograpy- find in internet yourself: to Bertram2)!

To David Doler: word "pereyeboshat" means in our context: try to get better results than other - and become a winner. But be careful with this word, it has a lot of meanings, but russians understand all of them correctly!

Babelfish is too limited!

Any language has more meanings than can be accurately translated into other languages except in context. That is the tricky thing in any translation.
So, a russian chapter would be fine I guess, but why take it away from the restn of us? I am sure almost everything in our new Benelux forum will be in English.
This is a very international forum after all. That is one of the greatest things about it!
No one will burn you if your english is not perfect or nowhere near perfect. You will be admired for trying.
And yoou will learn a lot by communicating to - well - the rest of the RFF world!

On the other hand, since it is an international forum, then the polite thing would be simply to ask the person to write in English, rather than slam them as if they've done something wrong.

to Daniel: How can you find any russian in english internet? try to search: www.ya.ru! or www.mail.ru or www.r0.ru (0-zero)
type in field: русская школа фотографии. And paste results (url links) in babelfish.
Russian school differs from european by this: pictrure composition is more complex, rule of 1/3 and 2/3 is not absolute, photos are B&W and etc.

Daniel!Boris Mikhailov ist nicht russich photographer - he is Soviet photographer!! There are 2 different things! Soviet photography - is degradation of photography, the victory of politics. It is death of photograpy, I think. Soviet photo - social realism, no beauty, no human - only communistic society (commune).

I think that russian point of view is very interesting, since there is a lot of gear that we own, Zorkis, Feds and other ones, made and used by them. It would be great to have someone here that can actually tell the story about them.
I personally don't disagree about foreign languages on the forum, but a translation to English would be very polite.
I don't get it clear about composition rules, some state about 1/3 other 1/5, personally sometime I find this rules absurd, what about the content of the picture?
Le Corbusier used "Connectors Lines" (bebel translator failed here) that is different way of "composing".
I agree that sometimes when you see a landscape with the horizon 1/2 frame composed is boring and fairly common.
Very complex or simple images are beyond rules, and I would be very glad to see this new "old" point of view.
