Hello -

I recently broken my Summilux 75 (f1.4)… :bang:
I'm searching a new one on eBay®.
And fallen on a couple of interesting coded lenses.

I encountered problem with one dealer, telling me that he never receive my money (but I'm sure that money was blocked in his bank in China). and he sold the lens to another person.
So I found a second one in Hong Kong (same town of the previous one).
The name of the store is "Breguet Camera".
The first dealer recommends me to not make business with them (Breguet Camera) because they have lot of fake lens/stuff.

So the question.
Does anyone here have already make some "business" with this store?
(Who seems to have a huge store on eBay®).

Thank you for your feedback…
Have a nice day…

i bought a 90mm f2.8 emarit-M (E46) from him last year "Breguet Camera'' from ebay,
no problem, what on ebay show, its a big store

In general, I'd like to know about experiences people here have had with ebay sellers from Hong Kong. They sometimes have equipment I'm unable to find elsewhere. But I'm leery about buying from them. I know they have their ratings and all on ebay. Still, I'm wondering if anyone has had good experiences or not. I've purchased cameras from a guy in Japan (which is a whole other country and culture, I know) that has worked out well. But there's something about the style of the Hong Kong vendors that makes me suspicious.

I bought an M7 0.58 from them which was incorrectly described as having the optical dx reader upgrade. They compensated me for the cost of shipping the camera to Solms for the free upgrade. This was through ebay.

They do have a real store in Hong Kong, in the Lee Wai Commercial building in Kowloon. There are also 2 other well mknown stores there, Nine Days and M&K, who sell on ebay. No bargain prices.

I've met the owner a few years ago. My impression was he's sneaky. He has a few seller's ID like SK Photo, SuperEBC in our local Hong Kong forum. His business gets bigger and he even goes to Japan to import gears. There must be some good reasons why his business gets bigger but his reputation in Hong Kong and mainland China remains the same; as quite a lot of folks over here got burnt by him.
Even though he has a great inventory, I won't buy from him as I don't want to take the risk. That's just me.
