1.5” strap like a Domke Gripper *without* swivel and QD?

I’ve almost exclusively used Domke Grippers since dinosaurs roamed the earth, but at some point they quit making the wider 1.5” strap without their QD and swivel - I had one of the swivels fail years ago and absolutely don’t trust them. I want a trap that has 3/8” webbing to the end so it can be used on slot lugged bodies, in this case a Leica SL2. (I’d love to put one on my Z9, too.) I’m not interested in Peak Design for this purpose, if they had Anchors with webbing ends instead of cord I might be - I don’t like how the cords work with slotted lugs.

Does anyone know of alternatives that have the nonslip surface?
 
I use v2 straps from Think Tank on all heavy bodies. They are sturdy, durable (10 years + for mine) but have a metal ring which you'd want to tuck away from screens etc.
 
Hmm. I use the PD straps on most of my cameras. For the heavy cameras ... I don't bother with a neck strap because I'll never hang a heavy camera around my shoulder or neck. A wrist strap bolted into the tripod mounting lug works to protect the camera when I'm shooting, along with an open satchel to carry the beast with when I'm not shooting. 🙂

I got all excited until I saw they are the same 1” as Domke. Boo!

Neck straps are integral to my technique. Bottom mounting only works for me on very small, very light camera.

I actually really like the PD straps, I recently got a few - but I only like their Anchor on eyelet lugs, not slots.

Ken, thank you. I think this came up on another thread. The solution proposed was to use a zip tie to make sure this didn’t happen - I think in that case it was plastic connectors disintegrating.

For Domkes it’s the pot metal swivel and clip falling apart. I fixed the one that broke by cutting the swivel QDs out of the strap and replacing them with large heavy split rings which is something I may have to do again.
 
It lacks the non-slip feature, but I like the Couch Seatbelt camera straps. It's a simple, inexpensive, flexible, non-bulky strap that distributes load well. I use it for my Pentax 6x7 and 105/2.5, which is easily over 5lbs. You could possibly modify it to add some non-slip grip?

Besides that, here are some other options I found on B&H that are wider than 1" and have the 3/8" webbing end:
