1.5 Magnifier

Where can I find a used 1.5 magnifier for my view finder.
As i age my eyes are changing I feel my eyes need some help.
Any advice that you have would be appreciated.

Hi Walter,

I don't know about a 1.5x magnifier but I got a 1.25x magnifier from HKSupplies on e-Bay. Works very well and it cost me $40-something dollars. It comes with a handy little pouch that attaches to the neck strap.

I also believe that there is a 1.35x magnifier from Megaperls but they don't sell it to US customers due to some legal matter over patents.

Hi Walter,

HKSupplies is in Hong Kong and they operate on ebay. I ordered this magnifier, some filters, and a Sekonic L588 meter from them and they were really good. I found shipping from Hong Kong was very fast. Here are links to their magnifiers:

Here's a link to the Megaperls 1.35x Magnifier with built-in diopter. Megaperls is in Japan and although I haven't done business with them, I heard good things. Unfortunately, they won't sell this magnifier to US customers due to patent issues.
