Hi,

I shoot medium format rolls and large format sheets. the LF sheets need about 1,5L of 1+1 xtol developer and I would like to make some savings on buying chemicas.

I would like to use the same mix of 1+1 xtol for several batch of sheet film, I supose that I have to compensate it by increasing development time. I wonder if anyone have some informations about how long i have to increase dev time ?

Bye

once you mix 1:1 it starts to deteriorate. Then the unknown of how much activity is lost in the first run.

Xtol can be used stock and replenished. Use it that way. Process small formats in the same replenished solution.

LF can also be done in a tray or jobo drum.

I would never consider 1:1 for more than a one shot run.

Try to get your hands on a Jobo, it makes things so much easier. I use a 2506n drum and process 6 sheets at once in about 300 ml of developer, you might get away with even less. You could also turn the drum in a sink filled with water, I've tried it and it worked without any issues.
