10-12 Ink RGB Color Printers .. How Large is the color space?

Does anyone have a reliable estimate as to what percentage of Adobe RBG is utilized by modern RGB graphics printers? If we are talking 90% then I want a good monitor that covers 97%+ of Adobe RGB, but if it is 70%, then a high quality printer that covers 77% will do at a more affordable price. Of course, percentage does not describe the actual plotted shape of the color space with respect to the shape of Adobe RGB, but it at least provides an idea of what is needed.

Inks' gamut could vary dramatically depending on the paper used; and inks paper combination with smaller gamut (often the matt textured "art" papers) is not necessarily bad looking... in fact certain images look much more suggestive and convincing on such papers than when printed on glossy ones, which typically achieve the widest gamut.

3 or 4 of the cartridges in higher end printers are for better B&W (grayscale).
