111f for M39 BUT Sony A7 for LeicaM lens?

I have a 111F rd & 11c upgraded to 111c which i use a lot.
I also have several M lenses which i use with my Sony NEX 6, since my Leica CL went.

Yesterday i almost bought a replacement CL for 250€ body only which is exactly what i paid for a CL WITH summicron 40mm two years ago😱

I looked at the Ms a M3 found for 350€ another for 400€,An M2 450€ to 600€ ...M6 around 1000€ M5 about the same (M9 from 2000€😱)

None were in great condition but ok there were very good bodies but all well over 1000€

So i thought why not buy a full frame A7 for 760€..thats the best vale body i found from two very large supermarkets online camera/IT site they bought up and mostly got rid of bargins

I have my excellent 111F rd for film so why would i want an M or another CL which buy now could well have age problems related to shutter/range finder

Why not a cheap A7???????😎

I've had an A7 for a year and some. Works great with SLR lenses and most RF lenses longer than 35-40 mm. Not so great with shorter RF lenses or specific lens designs. It's kinda clunky too.

I decided to sell it and stick with RF bodies, M-P and MM246 for digital. Expensive but much better, last longer too. Otherwise, pick up a Ricod GXR with the A12 Camera Mount ... They go for a song nowadays and are the best M-mount digital body short of a Leica M.

i don't see why not, I've used my CV 75 2.5 and CV 25 skopar on the A7 and works great, granted you will experience color fringing with wide-angle lens but if all you shoot is B&W, game on!

Umm the GXR i never looed at it since it came out seemed expensive ??? Takes M lenses as standard?? I have to look at this.

The A7 looks great but i don't like the DSLR look the finders huge i had hoped sony would make and A7 budget full frame without viewfinder,much as i find the NEX 6 finder very useful with RF lenses i can live without one

BUT the A7 is good value a simple full frame No anti shake could be a full frame NEX 6

I do have the vogtlander 15mm 21mm which i used on my CL the sensor problem is the reason i havnt already bought one....but at the current sale price and an M dosnt have 40mm frame lines nor 85mm

A Richo A12 M mount costs $450 alone,even from ebay i would be looking at paying more for one than an A7 and the Richo is 12.3meg pix against 24meg pix of the A7

I recently got an A7, and I am having the time of my life with it. So far, all of my RF lenses have worked wonderfully in it, including wideangles.

Where do you find an A7 for €760. That is super value!

A7 is a no brainer at this point in time..
I use mine from 15mm and up...works just fine..for either video or pics..
In fact..despite its minor issues..its the best cam I've had since my M6..for straight photography..

at the moment the best value is at digifuch.ch microspot.ch has gone up in price and the euro devalued
Im looking again at French sites,was 950€ in France

Switzerland used to be far better value for cameras and laptops butsince the big stores have bought up the best small retail prices are stuck at full recommended discount

And will the euro set to devalue by 40% as the eu bank keeps saying everything cost more.
I missed the 760€ price now 939€

15mm and works that's great,ive just been looking at ebay...Leica is soooo over priced when it comes to M and the M is no way as good as a 111f the M is to big to heavy and with age will need servicing

I hope i can get an A7 soon. My 15mm is 39mm screw with M adapter pity there cant be an M to 39mm adapter
