The Heliar 12/5.6 has got a hotspot. To correct this, one can use a Center Filter The filtersize for the Heliar is 77mm as far as I recall (with adaptor). Is it possible with great results to use the Hasselblad X-pan filter (or the Fuji ND filter, both 77mm)on the Voigtlander Heliar 12/5.6?, to me this looks like a match.

Anyone some experience with this?

As far as I can recall, neither the Hasselblad (nor Fuji) center spot filter has a 77mm thread. That for the 45mm lens has a 49mm thread, and the one for the 30mm lens has a 58mm thread. Used with a step-down ring, both of these would undoubtedly vignette on the CV 12mm lens.

I've been shooting Fuji 800 with my VC12 and, honestly, looking -critically- at the negs, I don't see any vignetting or hotspoting, at all. I have several Schneider graduated center-filters I sometimes use with my large format lenses, but really, I don't see the need with the VC12. Maybe if I shot with contrasty slide film I would see something else. But with my film of choice I don't see a reason to dig out any of my center-filters.
