120 Film In Bangkok?? Can i get it there

Last time I was in Bangkok I could not find any 120 film (December 2006). I suggest you take film with you.

One Camera shop that might be worth trying is close to Khao San Road (well known traveller's haunt). I don't know the name, but I can give you directions.

If you go the end of Khao San Road where the Police station is (there is a big Wat - temple - on the other side of the road), turn left into Chak Kraphong Road and about 30 + meters on the left hand side, you will find the shop.

When I was there last time I was able to buy a red and an orange filter for my Konica Auto S3 (I had been looking every where in Bangkok for these!).

Good luck and enjoy the trip.

Andrew.

Hi does anyone know if i can buy Fuji 120 negative film in Bangkok??? IF so where and how much am i looking at per roll or 5 pack ???

For sure you can get film in Bangkok, the question is how much of a hassle is it going to be tracking down exactly what you want. The easy thing to do is bring what you want to shoot, most of us import our own film anyway. You can try to call these guy and they may keep it in stock http://www.fotofile.net/ they are located at MBK which you can get to on the sky train. You also may want to email Fuji directly and ask who the distributer is and see if you can source that way. If all else fails I will make some calls for you.

How long will you be in Thailand and what will you be doing here? Sometimes me and a couple guys get together for coffee, If your around you will be welcome. On another note I will be meeting some people at the airport in Luang Prabang on the third of April and I will be there for at least ten days, I started another thread on that topic in the private forum.
