I guess since I'm not taking the camera apart that it is close enough
Thanks Michael.

Here are exploded views of the 124G (found via the Kyphoto link above, by the way):

No, actually, thanks to the both of you!
As I said above, I stumbled upon the exploded views via the link given above, and I wouldn't if it wasn't for this thread. As it happened, yesterday I needed them... Over the last couple of weeks I've managed to drop my beloved (original, non-124, with Lumaxar lenses) Yashica-Mat (that I carry everywhere, every day) not only once, but twice. After that the front panel started to get slightly wiggly, and though it was only slightly, that is not a good thing.
Anyhow, while I was taking a walk yesterday, I sat down on a park bench to worry about potential focusing issues. I turn the focus to the close limit, and tiny shim start falling onto my lap. Now, that is not a good thing, but I sure am glad I didn't lose them in the street. The panel then went way beyond just wiggly. I collected the shims in a 35mm film can, walked home and went to work. I sat down and got a grasp of how the camera works, figured out where the shims were supposed to go and - after a bit of trial and error - fixed it. Focus adjusted to perfection and all, and the panel is now perfectly rigid.
It was a good thing I didn't have any work to do today though. It took me til 7:30 in the morning.
Again, thanks - I don't know if I would have dared do it (even though I am a camera tinkerer of sorts) without the expolded view of the front, and I sure wouldn't have it ready for use today!
